What information should be included within the organization’s product qualification records?
Per ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021 Section 7.3 – “Product Qualification” the requirement is “Independent of the organization’s qualification method, qualification records shall include the test method used, the test results obtained from that method, and the test limits.” ESDA has summarized this information in a table that can be found here .
ESD control items that were qualified prior to the organization’s adoption of ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021 may have less robust objective evidence (e.g., data sheets with simple statements such as; ‘item complies with ANSI/ESD S20.20’) and do not need to be requalified.
