The term auditor may be used in different ways, for clarity:

For Compliance Verification Technicians (personnel who conduct compliance verification measurements), the ESDA has recently released the ‘ESD Compliance Verification Technician’ certification.

For ESD Control Program Auditors (personnel who evaluate an ESD Control Program’s compliance to the standard), the ESDA has released the ‘ESD Control Program Auditor’ certification.
