Our ESD system was established prior to ANSI20.20 certification. Our ESD20.20 version 2021 audit was completed last year Nov and only being informed today by our certification body the reviewer rejected the audit report from our CB due to product qualification not being performed at the lowest RH.Do we need to redo all product qual using lowest RH in the facility? From the standard, we shall be able to use compliance verification results or product Qual done prior to the adoption of ESD20.20 right? Pls help.
The ANSI/ESD S20.20 - 2021 states that compliance verification records that exist for at least a year before the adoption of ANSI/ESD S20.20 can be used as qualification. The only exception to that rule is the body voltage qualification for footwear/flooring systems. There are not compliance verification results and that needs to be qualified at the lowest RH or at 12% for the facility.
Items that have been previously qualified do not need to be requalified to the new standard. That is in the assessors handbook.
