we have PCBA storage inside the tote box on top of pallet with non esd flooring. this required connected to ground?
Hello Erian25, I’ll give you my typical answer, it depends.
If the tote is considered an ESD protective package, then where it is stored such as racks, shelves or in this case on the floor does not have to be grounded. This also assumes that your process takes the tote into an electrostatic protected area (EPA) with proper grounds before the tote is loaded or unloaded. If this is hte case, the floor does not have to be grounded.
