Good morning. I am Anthony Chiu of Aurotech Corporation in the Philippines and I would like to kindly seek for your expert advise with regards to the S.2020 under 8.3.1 about insulators. For essential insulators does it mean that for a distance of 1" to 12", static voltage should not exceed 2000V? 125V control only applies to less than 1" distance?

Hello Anthony and welcome to the EOS/ESD Association forum. Your statement about insulators is correct. The limits of 125 v/in are up to 1in away. The limit of 2000 v/in is from 1in to 12iin. After 12in away there is no limit.
