Would it be better to install, in protected areas, ventilation ionizers or ion bars, in terms of efficiency and ease of maintenance?
or in other terms what should influence my choice compared to the standard ?
The selection of ionizers is really specific to the environment and what type of ionizer. As far as selection for ionizers with blowers or ion bars is really dependent on what is available. They all required about the same amount of maintenance if they are electrical or corona type ionizer. The real difference would be if nuclear ionization was used. Nuclear ionization is naturally balanced but the source needs to be changed on a periodic basis.
