Does DIN EN 61 340-5-1 requires a certification by an external body, every time a new piece of equipment or workstation is installed? Or is an internal certification only sufficient?
For IEC 61240-5-1 or DIN 61340-5-1 there is only the requirement for product qualification for ESD control items. Certificates for “equipment” is not required. The assessor may ask how the equipment was qualified but any method with objective evidence would be sufficient.
