I had thought i read somewhere that you can ruin the ESD garments by adding embroidery (name and logo). Do you know if this is a true statement?

I’ve never heard of that. I would doubt some small embroidery would ruin the conductivity of the garment since the essence of the garment is the conductive fibers within the fabric. Perhaps the area near the embroidery wouldn’t be as conductive but such a small space shouldn’t give off much of an electric field to counteract the rest of the garment
